Aquamarine..."Old Money"

By Nancy DeRoo on 3/10/2018

Aquamarine, the gemstone that is considered to be glamorous, expensive, rare enough, that only people that had “old money” could afford it.  You’ve made it when you own a piece of Aquamarine!  Aquamarine or Aqua is a sister stone to some famous and pretty relatives, Emerald, Morganite, Goshenite, Heliodor, and Bixbite (really rare).  They are all part of the Beryl family.  But, the three sisters, Emerald, Aqua, and Morganite are the most popular.

Whether it’s a translucent faceted or opaque cabochon, Aqua is a g-e-o-r-g-e-o-u-s gemstone!  If you are a March baby, you are a lucky person to have such a wonderful birthstone.  https://www.distinctivegold.com/about/birthstones

We have a beautiful cabochon cut Aquamarine ring that can put you in that elists’ group of Aquamarine owners.  Remember, a ring and bracelet are worn for you, a necklace and earrings are worn for others. You can see the ring and bracelet.  You’d have to look in a mirror to see the others.
