Welcome to the DGJ Blog

Tis the time of the wearin' o' the green!

By Nancy DeRoo on 3/7/2019

Whether you’re Irish or not, we all need to see a little green about now.  Me…I’m 56% Irish according to 23&Me.

Symbolism in all cultures is very important.  We Irish tout our symbols greatly! Who doesn’t want a lucky 4-leaf clover?  The symbols in the Claddagh ring are Love (heart), Friendship (hands) and Loyalty (crown).  People use this ring as their wedding ring.  Others wear it as a symbol of their heritage.  You can add gemstones, diamonds, but the symbolism still stands.

If what you prefer your green to be is stackable gemstone rings; maybe this set with a diamond band separating them would suit you.  Now, if you already have your Claddagh, this is the ticket for the wearin’ o’ the green!  You can always wear it any day, green goes with everything!!  The best part, you can add more rings to a stackable set.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
